    Business visa application for foreigners coming to China


    The Chinese business visa (i.e. M visa) is provided for people who conduct business and trade activities in China (excluding internships in China). The stay generally does not exceed 90 days. The number of entries is one. twice. Many times in half a year, more than a year. According to the reciprocal visa arrangement between China and the United States, American citizens can apply for an M visa for more than ten years, but the passport must be valid for more than one year. Generally speaking, foreigners holding ordinary business visa M visa can extend their business visa for 1-3 months at a time.

    Service materials

    1. Passport: valid for more than 6 months. Original passport with blank visa page and 1 copy of passport information page.

    2. Visa application form and photos: 1 "Visa Application Form of the People's Republic of China" and 1 color white background visa photo (48X33mm) posted on the application form.

    3. Original and copy of the applicant’s valid ID card.

    4. Proof of legal stay or residence (applicable to those who do not apply for a visa in their country of nationality): If you do not apply for a visa in your country of nationality, you must provide a valid certificate of legal stay, residence, work, and study or the original and copy of a valid visa.

    5. Round-trip air ticket orders.

    6. Invitation letter issued by relevant Chinese units. The invitation letter should include the following: ①Personal information of the invitee: name, gender, date of birth, passport number, etc. ②Invite’s visit information: purpose of coming to China, date of arrival and departure, place of visit, relationship with the invitee or the invitee, source of expenses, etc. ③Inviting unit or personal information: name of the inviting unit or individual, contact number, address, unit seal, signature of legal representative or inviting person, etc. ④ If the inviter is registered in China, he should submit a copy of the business license and the company's legal person ID card.

    7. Bank deposit certificate, the deposit amount is not less than 100 US dollars x the number of days of stay in China.

    8. Tax ID number or employment certificate.

    9. Visa fee.

    10. Consular officials may require applicants to provide other supporting documents or supplementary materials based on circumstances.

    Application conditions

    1. Basic conditions of the employer:

    (1) Established in accordance with the law, with no record of serious violations of law or dishonesty; the positions employed by foreigners should have special needs, there is a temporary shortage of suitable candidates in the country, and the positions do not violate relevant national regulations; the wages and salaries paid to the foreigners hired should not be lower than The minimum wage standard in the local area.

    (2) If laws and regulations stipulate that pre-approval should be obtained from the industry competent department, approval is required.

    2. Basic requirements for applicants:

    (1) Applicants should be over 18 years old, in good health, and have no criminal record;

    (2) There is a confirmed employer in the country with the necessary skills or appropriate knowledge level to perform its work;

    (3) The work performed meets the needs of my country’s economic and social development and is a personnel in urgent need in the country;

    (4) If laws and regulations have other provisions on foreigners coming to work in China, those provisions shall prevail.
